Cindytalk Goes Up Here In The Clouds

UK purveyor of all things melodic, eerie and experimental Cindytalk are about to release their next album on August 30th. Titled Up Here In The Clouds, the LP will contain a fresh load of intriguing soundscapes and very abstract song structures.

Gordan Sharp started Cindytalk almost 20 years ago, and has been releasing four albums and an astonishing amount of EP during the 80’s and 90’s. Band activities were put on hold from 1994 to 2003 after which Sharp, the only consistent member of the group, returned to the scene. The sound of Cindytalk is ever since more focused on texture, rhythm and experimental abstract sounds, with New Wave and Cyberpunk patterns gently interwoven in its tracks.

Last year, the Editions Mego label released The Crackle Of My Soul, which was Cindytalk’s first album in 15 years. The new LP Up Here In The Clouds is said to be much more ambient and electronic orientated then their earlier works.
