Chrome Canyon, aka Morgan Z who was formerly part of Apes & Androids, has remixed Erika Sping's new single 6 More Weeks. The result is a nu-disco twist of an already great track. Check it after the break...

Erika Sping's 6 More Weeks is part of a split 7”with Violins, recently released on Friendly Fire Recordings. The original track features Jorge Elbrecht of Violens and Will Berman of MGMT. Chrome Canyon made a remix of the track, speeding it up a little and giving it a nice disco vibe. After Apes & Android's split up back in 2009, Chrome Canyon set up shop in Brooklyn where over time gathered an array of vintage synthesizers which can be heard in this remix.

Those who like this remix will be glad to hear Chrome Canyon is working hard on his own LP entitled Elemental Themes, which will be released this fall.
