Possibly the best-named new night in London launches at the Corsica Studios on Saturday 5^th November, with two of Horse Meat's finest joining the 2 Bears on the decks.

A party that combines Jim and Seve from Horse Meat Disco and Joe (Hot Chip) Goddard and his colleague from the house-loving The 2 Bears, Raf Rundell – how could this go possibly wrong? The answer is, not unless something goes wrong with the venue, which actually what happened here. The gig was supposed to go down in East London, but then things fell through and it was all off… until the second room of the Corsica Studios in Elephant & Castle, South London, came to the rescue. Huzzah!

But what kind of sounds will this named-after-some-alleged-sex-parties shindig explore? We asked Jim to explain: ‘Seve and I tend to throw more curve balls onto the disco path in our sets at Horse Meat Disco, but disco remains very much the main cut & thrust of things there. But we have always been interested in shaking things up and playing with The 2 Bears means we can indulge all things HOUSE and the various off-shoots of it. We will be playing disco too, though, as well as some techno cuts to compliment the 2 Bears sound. Should be a killer night!’ We can only agree, Jim...
