Bryan Ferry Goes Dance (Well, Sort Of...)

imageNews -
Seems like good ol' Bryan Ferry is tuning more and more towards the electronic side of the musical spectrum. After having collaborated with DJ Hell in 2009, the ex-Roxy Music rocker now teams up with Groove Armada and Scissor Sisters for his new album...

Bryan's new album Olympia will be released on October 25th and hosts various very interesting guests. Next to Groove Armada (on Shameless) and the Sisters (on Heartache By Numbers), Olympia sees contributions by Radiohead's guitarist Jonny Greenwood, Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, RHCP's Flea, and ex Stone Roses' Mani. Which is pretty sweet, yes.

Olympia will be the first album since '73's For Your pleasure on which Bryan works with star producers Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Brian Eno.

The first single You Can Dance will be released on August 9th.

Olympia tracklist:

1. You Can Dance
2. Alphaville
3. Heartache By Numbers
4. Me Oh My
5. Shameless
6. Song To The Siren
7. No Face, No Name, No Number
8. BF Bass (Ode To Olympia)
9. Reason Or Rhyme
10. Tender Is The Night
