Boxer Recordings have announced a new label compilation called Different. A very fitting title for a compilation that sees renowned artists stepping outside their usual territories and go beyond...

Usually a label compilation is a snapshot of the label's current artists and sounds, but Boxer Recordings decided to do it a bit different. They asked their artists to come up with something that would have left the fans confused, did not completed the club compatibility test or simply didn't fit the label.

The compilation isn't a CD filled with left overs though. It features some quality music by Gui Boratto, Popof, Extrawelt, Martin Eyerer and more, all stepping outside the boundaries. The compilation consists out of two discs that "(...) is far from being just a hoarding of leftovers, is rather conceived as a poison cabinet with doors wide open, a playground for free spirits and artists, and an open space far beyond the dance-floor dramaturgy and its rigid rules or common expectations."

Sound interesting if you ask us. Boxer Recordings will release Different November 8th.
