Bon Iver Set To Release New LP

June 20th will see the release of Bon Iver’s new, self-titled album. Full info after the jump…







Unlike Bon’s first album For Emma, Forever Ago, the new, 10-track LP has been conceived with the help of a full band consisting of 10 musicians who have worked with numerous big acts before. "Bon Iver is often equated with just me," says Vernon, "but you are who surrounds you, and for Bon Iver, Bon Iver I wanted to invite those voices as musical catalysts." It’s been in the making for three years and recorded at Wisconsin’s April Base Studios. "It's an unique space and destination; it's our home out here," says Vernon. "It's been a wonderful freedom, working in a place we built. It's also only three miles from the house I grew up in, and just ten minutes from the bar where my parents met."  

Bon Iver – Bon Iver will be released through Jagjaguwar in the US and 4AD in the rest of the world.
