The second in an occasional series, here we pick out the best weekend action for any Londoners still unsure about where to do their partying...or any visitors looking for the best places to lose their marbles!

Friday

Nightjar Audio Launch: Ali Tillet from Warm and Tim Goldsworthy (UNKLE, LCD Soundsystem, DFA) launch their new label, with 5-piece band Rhosyn playing live at Plastic People, alongside DJ support from the amazing Optimo and the Horse Meat Disco boys too.  

Wang: The best proper electro bash in town, bar none. Sick vibes, lovely crowd and of course some amazing tunes – this time they’ve got Ceephax Acid Crew playing LIVE, alongside a list of DJs that incudes Si Begg, Bass Junkie and the mighty Dexorcist, as well as Electro Elvis and Lula too, Wang’s own promoters and resident party-starters. Elvis has an album out soon too…

Saturday

Trouble Vision presents Simple Records: Possibly the most on-point line-up in town with Move D and Ewan Pearson alongside new house music hope Maya Jane Coles, plus future garage man Cosmin TRG and Simple boss Will Saul too. The Corsica Studios never lets us down.

Visionquest: The big boys of the new disco-tech scene Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss headline Room 1, while Berghain’s Ben Klock is in Room 2 and Detroit’s Kyle Hall and Space Dimension Controller rule over Room 3. Amaze!

Legendary Children 1st Birthday: These guys play seriously heavy early Chi-town H.O.U.S.E – scratchy but sick, rocking not shocking sounds with an ace young crowd too.
