Ben Klock Readies Berghain 04

Apart from occupying the position of being one of the must-visits clubs of this moment, Germany's Berghain is also known for releasing ace compilations from house & techno's hottest. The fourth instalment will be taken care of by Ben Klock and sees the light of day on June 28th. Watch that date, ladies and gents.

The Berghain compilation series aim to reflect the vision of the club itself, where musical boundaries seize to exist and all that matters is the vibe and flow of the night. And that's exactly what's happening on the Berghain releases as well. After awesome deliveries by Len Faki, Marcel Dettman and Andre Galuzzi, Berghain now welcomes electronics connoisseur and musical chameleon Ben Klock to the fore.  

Klock's debut mix comp consists out of 19 tracks, of which the most are new and/or unreleased. A look at the tracklist reveals the presence of Martyn, DJ Rolando, Levon Vincent, a Marcel Dettman remix of the Junior Boys' Work and two unreleased pieces by Klock himself (Compression Session 1 and Elfin Flight in cooperation with Elif Bicer). Not bad, not bad.

Just as the previous issues in this series the compilation will be accompanied by two 12" plus a digital only EP featuring tracks from Martyn, Roman Lindau, James Ruskin, Kevin Gorman, Jonas Kopp and The Echologist.
