Audio Soul Project’s Hip Shake Heartache

Chicago based DJ and producer Mazi Namvar aka Audio Soul Project has finalized his next album. The LP entitled Hip Shake Heartache will be released November 1st on Fresh Meat Records.

Hip Shake Heartache is Namvar's first album in nine years and follows his debut album Community which was released on NRK. Mazi hasn't sat still though, he has been releasing a steady amount of EPs under both his own name as under his Audio Soul Project moniker. Next to that he was part of the Afterhours imprint and co-founded Fresh Meat Records.

His style can be described as clubby house music with lots of warm and soulful vocals. The album features guest appearances by vocalists Alexander East and Ron Carroll, both well known names in the scene. More collaborations come in the form of fellow Fresh Meat founder Nathan Drew Larsen.
