Arp Reveals The Soft Wave

Composer of all things minimalistic, avant-garde and synth-looped Arp is set to release his new album The Soft Wave on September 14th on Smalltown Supersound. An album outtake has just been made available in the form of the fuzzy, distorted ambient/electronica tune White Light.



Arp's previous album In Light revealed the man's cunning skills in creating surrealistic sound patterns with analogue synths and instruments decorated with lots of loops and fx. The new album is said to follow the same musical path as his previous, presenting nine tracks that vary from drones to psychedelic waves and lo-fi electronica/pop as Arp has given the guitar a more prominent role in his minimalist compositions. Album track White Light has been made available as an album preview.
