Andrew Grant Launches Two New ImprintsWritten by the B&B Crew Thursday, 21 October 2010 11:00 News - Andrew Grant, known for his residency at Circoloco and Valencia’s Barraca and the accompanying label, has announced to be launching two new imprints. EDEC Music outlet and Blau Motif will release more quality music from many of the same Barraca artists. Andrew Grant got the idea from the success of the Barraca imprint he runs together with Jamie Fry. It inspired “to get more quality music out from many of the same artists like Karm, Dana Ruh & Matteo Milleri to name a few.” EDEC will be a vinyl only label, with the first two EPs by Andrew Grant himself. Artwork of EDEC will be black and white and after the release of the first two Andrew Grant EPs it’s said that many ‘Like minded people’ will follow. The more digitally orientated second label: Blau Motif, will mainly be a deep-house, downtempo and leftfield/chill affair. The currently released Time Heals Wounds is available now with a release featuring Mudkid, Julian Lentz and Andrew himself up next.
