D-Edge and Warung residents Andre Torquato and Paulo Boghosian are about to release their debut LP. The self titled LP will be released next week on Yoruba records.

 

 

 

Both hailing from Brazil, they are leading figures in the Brazilian deep house scene. The two hold residencies at two of Brazil’s best known nightclubs; D-Edge and Warung, both based in Sao Paulo. Andre and Paulo first worked together last year for an EP on Cécille Numbers. This LP follows up on that project and features 10 previously unreleased tracks.

Altough most tracks on the album are club friendly, the sounds on this LP are said to be very similar to the style of Torquato’s solo work, which he has been releasing on Osunlade’s imprint since 2008.

Torquato & Boghosian will be released November 7 on Yoruba records and will be exclusively available as a digital download.
