Amsterdam Club Trouw Closes For Renovation

One of Amsterdam's major night-life hot spot, Trouw, is about to close for a full moth. All of August the doors will remain closed for a full blown renovation project of the club and restaurant.

The construction workers and carpenters will focus especially on the restaurant, but the entrance, toilets and bar will get a overhaul as well. September first the restaurant will have a southern European vibe to it, including a new chef cook and menu.

Although it are only four weeks, for many Amsterdam clubbers it will feel a little awkward. To avoid any withdrawal symptoms, they people of Trouw are throwing one hell of a closing party. July 31^st sees all of the resident DJs take control of the room upstairs, while the main room will be helmed by Berghain honchos Prosumer and Soundstream.
