Abe Duque's been around since '93, which apparently is enough reason for a two-disc compilation –Live And On Acid- featuring the man's finest work till date.

 

Ever since his 1993 debut, New York-based Abe Duque has been at the fore-front of electronic music and he is still active in the techno scene. One of his latest releases, Hypocrisy, recently got a massive rerub by John Digweed and Nick Muir.

The two disc compilation promises to be an overview of Abe Duque's current view on music, and a retrospective look over the shoulder too. The first disc features the producer's current sound with 12 of his own tracks plus remixes. On the second disc Abe digs up some of his personal favorites from back in the day with evergreens by Mr. Fingers, Bam Bam, Detroit Grand Pubahs and of course his own Acid EP.

Abe Duque's Live and On Acid will be released in September 2010 on History Records.
