5 Years Of Dirtybird

Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird label is celebrating five years of dropping hot and heavy house tuneage and as a special gift to their fans, the label is about to release a 3xCD package with the best material from the quirky imprint. Saucy.

Dirtybird started in 2005 and there's quite a funny story behind the launch. VonStroke's girlfriend (now wife) 'Aundy' heard about the plan for the label and decided to give her man the greatest gift of all time. She said, “I’ll give you one year to make this record label work. I’ll pay the rent, food and bills. If you make $XX amount of dollars you can do it forever. If you don’t, you have to go back to work for corporate America the rest of your life.” That certainly would made us doing all kinds of crazy shit to make the label a success. So did Claude, with the result being five years of releasing sweaty bassline-driven tracks from artists such as Justin Martin, Worthy and of course mr. vonStroke himself.

Five Years Dirtybird will be released on April 19th. Watch out for our interview with Claude himself!
