The Morning Benders Give Phoenix, Arizona A Night To Remember!

Who knew local Phoenicians could go to The Rhythm Room to hear some of the finest Indie Rock bands around? Well if you were one of the lucky fans who packed the club at The Morning Benders concert on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, you quickly learned how true that statement is.

These hip, young rockers jammed into the night playing their tunes for the groovin' (and adoring) audience. Hailing from Berkeley, California, Chris Chu (vocals and guitar), Jon Chu (guitar and keyboards), Julian Harmon (drums), and Tim Or (bass) formed The Morning Benders in 2005.

Fans were able to hear The Morning Benders' memorable tunes from their newly released sophomore album Big Echo such as: "Excuses" and "Promises", in addition to songs from their debut album Talking Through Tin Cans, which incidentally was esteemed by iTunes as "Best Indie/Alternative Album" in 2008.

The Morning Benders have a mature, innovative sound that is way beyond their youthful years. It won't be surprising when this talented band is still around to bring us many more awesome tunes for decades to come!
