Swearing The Truth About UnderoathWritten by Carmen Garza ![]() Embarking on their 46 city North American/European concert tour, Grammy Award Nominees and Christian Metal Rock Gods Underoath have been sweeping fans off their feet with their sold out performances. On January 25, 2011 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona, these born again rockers gave their devoted fans an evening to remember. With reckless abandon and resonating vocals that would send shivers down anyone’s spine, frontman and lead singer Spencer Chamberlain commanded the stage as if he were leading an army to war. Wildly flinging his brown locks and mustering the energy of an erupting volcano, he set the tone for the entire sweat infused night. Enthusiastic concertgoers boldly made their way to the front of the stage while crowd surfing above the dangerous mosh pits. These worshippers, however, were eagerly escorted out the door by the security team. Their opening screaming number, “In Regards To Myself” was well received by the sequestered crowd of followers. Fans also enjoyed other hard-driving hits as: “In Division”, “It’s Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door”, and closing hit “Writing On The Walls” among other favorites. It’s easy to see why this 6 piece Tampa, Florida based band is receiving rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Underoath is currently promoting their 2010 album release Ø Disambiguation.
