Kaskade Brings Down The HouseWritten by Carmen Garza Event Review - Bring on the dry ice. Bring on the flashing lights. Bring on the pulsating beats. Bring on the riveting Kaskade. Kaskade brought his homegrown Chicago sound to Axis-Radius in Scottsdale, Arizona on Friday, July 16, 2010. The packed house was already revved up for hours as they continually danced to the sounds of the first two DJs while their anticipation for Kaskade was building. He appeared from the cleverly hidden passage in front of the turntable deck and picked up the mic exclaiming, “Damn, it’s hot outside!†beginning his set with the vibrant tune “Angel On My Shoulderâ€. The crowd immediately went into a wild frenzy. Many of his songs are comprised with his signature smooth deep house/trance style so attempting to distinguish from one song to the next is quite challenging. However, two songs stood out above the rest judging by the fans’ reactions, which were the ethereal “Move For Me†and the danceable “Dynastyâ€. These masterfully blended tunes have been instrumental in paving the way to Kaskade’s recent notoriety as #51 on DJ Magazine’s annual top 100 DJs poll. Check out Kaskade’s 2010 album release, Dynasty, which is getting rave reviews. He is currently traveling in North America on an extensive world tour with a stop in his hometown of Chicago in August at Lollapalooza. You won’t want to miss this seasoned master of music.
