Innervisions’ Amê at TrouwWritten by Gijs Liu ![]() Once again one of Europe’s leading clubs and one of its leading electronic labels Innervisions combined forces and hosted another night in Trouw, Amsterdam. The deep-house label represents its founders Amê and Dixon and has signed artists like Marcus Worgull and Tokyo Black Star. They have released numerous tracks by even more promising names of which some Dutch DJ’s/producers like Melon, Daniel Sanchez and Estroe. In the main room Frank Wiedemann was performing one of his famous live sets. His set turned out at the same level as his legendery set at June 12th in the same venue. One of the Innervisions protégées also travelled to Amsterdam. After the opening act of the night, Gerd Janson, Marcus Worgull took over with a deep and melodic set. With a sold out Club Trouw, the floor was packed right from the start and Marcus got those people dancing like there was no tomorrow. The up and coming Innervisions artist created a nice and warm flow of deep and energetic tunes. When he played his mix of ‘Basic Space’ Trouw exploded, truly an amazing track! After Marcus Worgull his Innervisions boss took place in the DJ booth. Frank Wiedemann was doing a live set. Sometimes the duo splits up and they both do their own gig, Frank his live set and after that Kristian plays a DJ set. A nice feature for both artists in which they can do their own thing and showcase their personal skills. Mister Wiedemann played a perfect combination of deep grooves and catchy melodies. A nice live set with this typical Amê sound which just stands out. Kristian Beyer took over and dragged us into his world of Amê. His world was deeper, harder and he played an astonishing set that kept the crowd on the floor till late. At Trouw the DJ is positioned in the middle of the crowd. Absolutely a great concept which creates a cozy feeling and has the Amê works out the best. We at BnB believe Amê is one of the best DJ/producers duo around. These Berlin based friends mix deep house with twists of jazz and other funky tunes. They show their skills in producing, finding and mixing perfect tracks during a night like this. Check the Fabric CD they mixed and experience it yourself. This night only enhanced our feeling about the two German friends. An amazing night out!
