Cymbals Eat Guitars Come Crashing Into Phoenix, Arizona!

imageEvent Review

Cymbals Eat Guitars is NOT a band whose musical style consists of percussions overpowering the pluck of the guitar strings (as their name suggests).  They are an Indie band who knows how to blend their ferociously explosive beats with soothing, melodic harmonies.

This was quite evidently the scene on Monday, March 22, 2010 at The Rhythm Room in Phoenix, Arizona.  It’s no wonder that Joseph D’Agostino (frontman and lead guitarist) is currently regarded as the sweatiest Indie frontman.  Together with Matt Whipple (bassist), Matthew Miller (drummer), and Brian Hamilton (keyboardist), Cymbals Eat Guitars consistently (and effortlessly) display raw energy and true passion in every performance.

The band is presently on a North American tour promoting their debut album Why There Are Mountains.  Some of the songs fans will hear at their show are:  “And The Hazy Sea”, “Share”, “Indiana”, and “Like Blood Does”.

These talented young men from Staten Island, New York are a band not to miss.  They are well on their way to a long road of success - for certain!
