Calvin Harris At Lavo, NYWritten by the B&B Crew Report - It's been a long wait for some new material since the success's of "Ready for the Weekend" but it is clear Calvin Harris is back to prove his distinctive catchy "Calvin Harris" pop electo sound will not be forgotten.
May 5, 2011, Lavo, New York, 12 am the dancefloor is jammed packed cheering for Treasure fingers and eagerly awaiting the popular U.K star. At, 1:30am Calvin Harris made a royal entrance and continued to channel his audience to make the floor shake with crowd favorites such as Duck Sauce-"Barbara Streisand", Martin Solveig "Hello", Congorock "Babylon", Wynter Gordon "Dirty Talk", Moby "Praise you", and Red Hot Chili Peppers "Otherside". While also infusing some of his previous dance floor anthems such as "You used to hold me" and "Flashback". Although the release date of his new album is still unknown, his newest songs "Awooga" which took off in Miami this March, and his colloboration with Kelis in "Bounce" will definately be played on repeat as DJ favorites for the summer. Expect a mass of killer remixes that his album will surely bring, hoping that Tiesto, Eric Pyrdz, Axwell and Deadmau5 will add their finishing touch's to perfect the sound as they have previously done, to take a Calvin Harris track to the next level. I look forward to hearing his performances this summer at the LED festival and Cream@ Amnesia. Photo credits: Joegazzola.com for 5th&ocean.com
