Following the release of Toob's come-back EP "Chromaphon", Process Recordings now brings you remixes from Point B and Radioactive Man for the EP's title track.
Point B's rework is a mid-tempo piece of experimentalism involving off-beat kicks and a wide range of glistening melody patterns. A very nice tune to chill to on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Radioactive Man drops two remixes, the first being the Full SPectrum Mix which is a gloomy chunk of electro-ish dub with a playful bassline as its engine. Very deep, very nice. RM's Black & White Remix is less dubby and more electro, but things are kept pretty down low here as well. A bit basic, but guaranteed to do the trick for DJs when timed right.
Our verdict: It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but if you could use some proper minimal dub electro, then this one might be what you're looking for.
