With several releases on the respected Bla Bla label from Amsterdam, Roderik and Wietse are no strangers to the game. For their new release, the Yellow Can EP, the Dutch minimal house duo teams up with Phat Elephant Recordings.





First up is 5voor8, a mid-tempo piece of stripepd-down house topped with glowing synths. the typical cymbal work give the track a jazzy touch, while the melodics assure constant warm vibes. Ilperfunk is a more uptempo affair that draws on much more vivid elements with dubby organ tones serving as the tune's main attraction. Closing the EP is the title track, Yellow Can, a beefy slice of playful tech house with powerful drum rattles and low down heavy bass. Definitely the best track of 'em all.

Our verdict:
Roderik and Wietse's Yellow Can EP has become a nice and diverse package for minimal house and techno heads that will definitely do well in the clubs.
