Rick Wade - Creeper

Detroit Techno -
Detroit’s smoothest, Rick Wade, returns with the Creeper EP featuring remixes by Sascha Dive, Treplec and Eric Bogatzky & Volt. Ooh-wee.
Michigan-born Rick Wade has been dropping some fine, fine cuts over the past few years as well as launching the Harmonie Park imprint, home to everything that’s Detroit-esque and sexy. The original mix of Creeper draws on Rick’s signature sound: deep, funky and superhot techno with an unmistakable 313 vibe. It has the warm chords, fierce handclaps and very, very subtle bass we know so well from the man with the overall track itself being covered in a thick mellow groove Detroit-fans will love.
Sacha Dive’s DC Soulwax Dub is a more uptempo rework rooted in a rough Chicago workout rhythm with the original chords and bass very nicely interwoven. Eric Bogatzky & Volt.mar deliver a more stripped down minimal house tune that’s not too convincing after which Treplec closes the EP with a superb makeover that flirts with the more basic grooves of Detroit techno.
Chances are you’ll lose it once this baby is dropped in the clubs. This is a-grade Detroit jack shit, real killer stuff.
