Puresque - Vor Leitmotif EP

imageTechno -

Up next on the Tresor release roster is a fresh EP from Paul Brtschitsch and Mocca, aka Puresque…

Both Paul as Mocca have quite a few years of studio experience under their belt. Paul Brtschitsch has been dropping a myriad of EPs and albums since the mid-nineties, while Mocca has been rocking the Berlin underground as a dJ/producer over the past few years. Their collaborative efforts have now resulted in this EP, which has become a very melodic slab of big room techno.

Up first is 001A, a rumbling mash of fat kicks, pulsating synth warps and deep bass stabs that work their way to a very hypnotizing ensemble tailored for the clubs. Spinnenwabe takes things to even heavier heights. This track combines extremely deep kicks to low down bass and rattling hi-hats, after which the trippy Shaflos closes things with a very deep mash of drums, echoing sticks and wobbly bass.

Our verdict:
Puresque have dropped an EP that perfectly matches to the beloved Tresor sound. It’s banging but subtle, melodic, and fueled with dancefloor potential. A biggie.
