Prok & Fitch - The Heat

imageEP Review
Prok & Fitch return with a four-track rocker on Roger Sanchez' Stealth Records. And they've invited John Dahlback, man of the moment, for a remix.

The original mix is house the way Roger likes it best, with trademarked NY house beats, signature house vox and a nice little chorus for y'all to sing along to. Nothing too much out of the ordinary but definitely not bad. John Dahlback stirs the tune up with his electro house spoon, adding a bunch of silky synths in the process. The breakdown's where the value's at. However, if you really want to get those asses wiggling, be sure to spin the tech-house flavored Nice7 remix. Jacking uptempo beats, cut-up vocals, and a massive breakdown do the business here. Closing the EP is Prok & Fitch's own Floorplay mix, which is a more rhythmic tech-house-style affair with a bunch of shakers and some nice percussion elements. Beats the original by far.

Stealth delivers another fine tune for the clubs, but don't expect too many surprises. Out now on Beatport.
