Dutch prodigy Applescal, whose name is rapidly conquering the top regions of the international charts, delivers a wonderful remix of Pien Feith's I Have Done Nothing...
The original track is taken from Feith's debut album Dance On Time, of which the remixes are soon to be released on V2. Applescal's remix is a laidback, very warm piece of electronica that reminisces of Plaid, The Black Dog light and the less experimental version of DnTel to name but a few. The track builds up in the most soothing of ways, only to evolve into a breath taking, semi-epic palette of colours during the chorus. It's dream-pop with a very leftfield vibe, and absolutely lovely in every way.
