UK masterminds of tech-house Layo & bushwacka return with a new EP titled The Longest Day on their recently launched Olmeto imprint. And not just any EP, but a superhot bodyrockin' peak time house cut!

The Longest Day doesn't exactly bear that signature L&B tech-house vibe, but really: we couldn't care less. 'Cuz this baby is one white hot killer tune that will destroy any floor any time... Opening with a variety of exotic drums, the tune gently evolves in a stripped-down house groove with a myriad of great vocals, rattling drums and a thick sweaty house groove. Carefully placed synths and low down bass complete this dubby, 9:30 long monster. Top notch material!

The flipside features the Mirko Loko mix, which is a more offbeat-style chunk of minimalism. This baby comes with a funky dub vibe that runs smoothly through brilliantly modulated synths and offbeat rhythms, while the crispy vocals provide the overall with a surreal topping. One for demanding minimal heads.
