J. Flannan - Magnetic Warp

Tech-house -
Dutch up and coming producer Jorden van Pelt aka J. Flannan drops his first full EP on the Dutch Low End Community label. Any good?
Yup. The Utrecht-based studio junkie has been churning out many a track over the past few years, and his hard work and dedication is evident on this beefy three-tracker. Drawing on a sound that’s best described as organic tech-house meets stripped-down techno, the EP kicks of with the low-down and dirty jacking Magnetic Warp, a tune jam-packed with catchy drums, chunky beats and nifty effecting on the side. Watch out for the vocal on this one too. Up next is Resonator, a more straight-forward piece of tech-induced bonanza with a subtle shuffle rhythm and some very nice synth work that gives the track that extra push over the cliff. Closing the release is Meditation, a menacing thumper fueled by strong kicks, vivid tone pulses and a nice array of percussions tailored for hot ‘n heavy basement shindigs.
Our verdict:
J. Flannan delivers three very well produced slabs of roughness for the demanding DJ. Recommended if you like your tech-house both sexy as uplifting and downright devastating.
