Flash Atkins returns to Paper Recordings with the discofunk-tinged The In Crowd / Flash's Theme EP...






With releases from Crazy Penis, Daco and Proviant Audio amongst others, Paper Recordings have steadily been releasing a series of white hot house and disco-orientated stuff and Flash Atkins' latest release fits the description perfectly well. The In Crowd on the a-side is a pretty darn funky nu-disco 'light' cut with a nice vibe to it and fueled by typical guitar licks and tribal rhythms. A nice tune to spin with springtime around the corner. On the flipside we find Flash's Theme, a very laidback, jazz-inspired piece of groove with a very sexy feel. Should do the business while enjoying a cocktail.   

Flash Atkins delivers two very enjoyable cuts that mark the end of winter and say hellooooo to the sunny days ahead of us.
