Darkness Falls - Darkness Falls EPWritten by Youri Jozee Indie - The EP features four tracks, all of which are ethereal fusions of indie rock and 60s sounding guitar twangs caught in a warm, soothing vibe. Opening track Noise On The Line is a slightly psychedelic, very laidback chant with tambourins, bells and guitars, while follow up track Hey! is a bit more uptempo and more surf-orientated. Strangers Coming returns to more laidback grounds with surf guitars coated in a melancholic structure, after which Paradise Troligy II closes the EP with a drum-riddled composition with great violins around the middle part. Very nice. Our verdict: This debut EP has become a great introduction to the sound of Darkness Falls. Overall speaking, the duo fuses hippe-styled vibes to roots rock and indie with the result being very unique.
