EPM presents Only U, the second track to be taken from Carl Taylor's forthcoming album True Faith, which is due in December.

... and judging by this EP, that album is gonna blow you out of your socks. The original mix of Only U is an analog-sounding Detroit techno track in true Carl Taylor tradition. It starts off rather heavy, but eventually turns into an extremely hot and somewhat dreamy track full of trancey strings and basic textures. Awesome, really. Mark Broom is the first of the remixers to step up. His rework is a filthy, ultra heavy techno stomper with violent cymbals, blow out kicks and slamming drums,. Luis Martinez' remix sounds like it has been edited live on stage, which results in a somewhat messy but original cut.

Our verdict:
A very diverse EP with three stand out techno tracks well worth the cash.
