Apart from being a familiar face behind the decks at the nation's best clubs, Mirella is also known for her versatile and energetic festival shindigs with gigs at Welcome To The Future, Mystery Land and Pleasure Island amongst others. Expect to hear a lot more from this fierce rocking lady in coming months... Hi Mirella, how are you? Could you tell us a bit about the vibe of this podcast? I'm good! Thank you. The vibe... don't know how to label it. Some of the tracks are more moody but it also contains some rawer house and some techno that I would play in the club. I think this mix is a good representation of the music i like to play and listen to: from deeper house and techno to broken beats and some dub too. Where do you draw your inspiration from? Basically from all the things I experience in my life I think. Things I see around me, certain moments, people.. What kind of stuff are you listening to at the moment? Different stuff from house, jazz, soul, dub(step) to techno, to name a few. I really like this radioshow called Soulsearching, they play a nice variety of good music. What sort of projects do you have coming up? Well, I just moved to Amsterdam so one project is to relax a little these next few days ;) Besides that some studying, practise on producing and prepare for some gigs that I really (!!) look forward to.
