BnB Presents We Are E | Mulder & Gideon Bouwens PodcastWritten by the B&B Crew Podcast - After last week's podcast by Johanna Mercker, this week it's Gideon Bouwens and Mulder on deck duty for the BnB Presents We Are E | podcast. The two present an exclusive tech-house mix for you all to enjoy and move your head and feet to! DJ and producer Gideon Bouwens is one of the talents coming from the Amsterdam club Studio 80. His extended set at Barcelona's Sonar 2010 has been one the absolute highlights in his career. Besides being an very gifted DJ, Gideon has produced a couple of critically acclaimed tracks together with Wouter Moor, that have been released on labels such as Remote Area, Mindshake and were included on the Sensation White 2009 compilation. His companion for this podcast is the 28 year old Mulder, who's interest for music grew at a young age. His love for drums and percussion inspired him to make music himself and eventually led him to the Academy of Music. The years of practice and experience in rhythm driven music, and his theoretical knowledge acquainted during his college years have proven to be a unbeatable combination and perfect starting point for his productions. His tracks have been released on Daniel Sanchez's BlaBla imprint, and received massive support by highly respected and influential artists such as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola and Karotte. We did a short interview with Mulder and Gideon to find out some more about this podcast and his future plans: • First off, how are you? Please tell us, how did this collaboration came together? Gideon: The podcast has become a mix of what we think are some real fine house tracks and we hope everyone enjoys it. If so, you definetely should check out the EP I just did with Wouter de Moor on Remote Area and my remixes for Piekup and 90 watts... And als of Mulders productions naturally....He's a great musician!! • Any plans in the future to continue together? Gideon: I definitely want do more together with Wouter, because he's a friend of mine and we have a good musical connection somehow. I also think I'm going to do more stuff for the guys at Piekup as they are just nice people and also frequent guests @ our local hang out: Studio 80. Furthermore I'm going to do a remix for a label from Rome which is due to be released November 29th.... Next to that I will probably also just relax a lot..... and finish my school, and finally do my taxes... and clean up my house... buy some new clothes...eat... just stuff.... Mulder: So we're both pretty busy guys at the moment!
